Madison is a PhD student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program at The Ohio State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Medical Studies with a minor in Business from Arizona State University, followed by research at the Barrow Neurological Institute. At Barrow, her work involved utilizing MRI to study peripheral nerve injury as well as investigating Alzheimer’s Disease. Now at OSU, she is focusing her research on the cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, specifically examining how mitochondrial and retromer dysfunction contribute to the progression of Alzheimer's Disease. In her free time, Madison enjoys reading, running, exploring local farmers markets, and trying new restaurants.
